We source our products from selected artisan cheese makers around New Zealand. The medium/smaller ones who are hard for you to find. We talk to them, we go and see them, and we get to know them. Mark, our microbiologist puts his Health & Safety hat on too. And because we get to know them well, we only use the best quality products.
At this stage we only source pasteurized products, just because that’s already a beautiful selection.
Every month we curate a selection of 4 artisan cheeses for you. We make sure you get a nice and diverse selection of products that are sourced from cheese makers who operate with high Health and Safety standards.
We pack them according to New Zealand Food requirements. To prove this we’ve even obtained our Food Act 2014 certification. We use eco-friendly and sustainable packaging, because we care about our environment.
We provide an easy subscription model for you.
We want to make it easy and flexible, so no set plan, no need to subscribe for a minimum amount of time. You join, get your cheese experience every month, and can cancel or pause by e-mailing us before the 15th of the month.
When you subscribe, we’ll ask your details so that we can include you to our list of cheese lovers.
We use a secure payment method managed by an established payment provider, so your details will be kept safely. Every 18th day of the month, we will debit your account by $65 (including GST and delivery fees – special fees apply to rural deliveries).
If you order before the 15th and your payment is successfully processed on the 18th of the month, we’ll dispatch your first cheese box on the 1st Wednesday of the coming month. If you order after the 15th, your first box will be dispatched on the first Wednesday of the following month.
We will not be able to send your monthly cheese box if your payment has not been accepted.
Our cheese box deliveries are subject to stock and availability.
Any promotional offer is applied on the total subscription price, including delivery costs.
Cancel your subscription
If for any reasons you wish to cancel or pause your subscription, please e-mail us at email@example.com before the 15th of the month. Any cancellation request received after that date means that your cancellation will only take effect the following month.
We send out your cheese box every 1st Wednesday of the month.
You’ll get your cheese box within 1-2 days or 2-3 days for South Island deliveries, including:
4 kiwi artisan cheeses (between 500 and 600g of cheese).

By default, we won’t ask our courier to get your signature on delivery. But we can arrange this option at no extra cost if you prefer, just let us know.
We do deliver to NZ rural addresses on request, but please be aware that this incurs an extra delivery fee of $4.95/month. From experience rural deliveries have been working well but we cannot take any responsibility for your cheese being damaged due to the box being left in transit for too long.
We are unable to deliver to overseas addresses.
We recommend that you keep your cheese in the fridge. For the best cheese experience, we advise that you keep your cheese at room temperature for approximately 20 minutes before serving.
Always consider the Best Before Date of your cheese . They should keep well to this date. However also keep in mind that cheese is a living product (which is what makes them so nice!) and Best Before Dates are not based on exact science. The Cheese Wheel takes no responsibility for products consumed after the Best Before Date indicated on packaging.

If you have any concern about a cheese, we please request that you stop consuming the product. We will only be able to consider concern requests when the majority of the actual product is provided back to us.

However we all know that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, can be fully secure. While we take every responsible step to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
